Simplest PC setup I have ever experienced, have only been using it a short time but so far I am impressed. I wanted a new PC with windows 7, and this one fit the bill nicely. Have never had a desktop with such a quiet hard drive. I hope to get many years of use out of this unit.

Good value, however the HP website needs to show & explain what connections are supplied on the back of the computer. It was nice to be able to order a new computer with win-7-64bit installed & pick some hardware upgrades. The computer arrived within 3 days, and was packaged very well. The after sale service was great.

This CPU was easy to set up and I bought it because it had Windows 7. Just bought a HP with Windows 8 and hate it. I would never buy any CPU or printer that was not HP.

Its too soon to actually rate the product as I have only had it a week.. My biggest disappointment" out of the box' was the length of the keyboard cord. In order to attach it to the tower next to my desk required me to spend $21 for a USB extension cord!! I judge this very unfavorable. What would be an insignificant cost in the manufacturing translates into another cost for the customer, which makes the total product cost uncompetitive.

I ordered this product purposely with Windows 7 64 bit instead of Windows 8. To start up after installation was problematic! Microsoft places a lot of unrelated commercial software into Internet Explorer 9. HP also loads up the package with annoying unrelated commercial software, most of them useless for the mission of this Desktop computer. Finally, I had to make a telephone call to Microsoft Technical Support to get rid of this "junk" and then lot of so-called "add-ons". These profit-oriented advertisements made my experience awful.

It was easy to set up and features were not all that different from our old XP, so has been very easy to navigate. I had heard that Windows 8 was extremely different from the XP which is why we chose to buy the Windows 7 product. The computer was delivered about 5 days earlier than expected, which made us very happy.

I wanted a new desktop to replace an old 8 yr old Dell. No bells and whistles needed...just a basic machine for budgeting, spreadsheets and occasional surfing. I also did not want Windows 8. This was a great find. Inexpensive, powerful enough for my purposes and reliable. So far I've had no issues except for Office Starter (which I don't use anyway - I loaded Open Office as soon as I got the machine set up). All in all, I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

I needed a new computer pronto but I definitely did not want Windows 8. I also did not want anything to do with Dell. When I found this HP with Windows 7 and at a great price I made up my mind almost immediately and haven't regretted it once. I do actual paid work on my computer as well as maintaining a large history-based website. I don't do games or social media, so I don't know one way or another this machine's capabilities in those areas. But for doing real-world work it's been a champ. Only downside, no internal speaker. Also, I'd recommend confirming its features by phone when ordering -- the listing says 2 usb ports but mine came with 6 (2 in front, 4 in back) but no minicard slot; also the listing says beats audio but mine came with realtek. I was happy to have the six usb instead of a minicard, and I'm unfamiliar with beats audio so I don't know if I'm missing out or not (but i didn't buy it for it's audio, so it doesn't really matter to me).
its the absolute best computer i have ever owned. i think this computer will last for a very long time

Don't get me wrong, this computer works good. My concerns is all the stuff that is installed on it. There are so many features installed that it makes me feel that HP is trying to take over my life. I uninstalled a few of them, but some I didn't know if the computer would malfunction if the programs were taken off. My biggest concern was the Hard Drive. I ordered the 1TB drive because I wanted to devide it into two drives. That way I could use the second part of the drive as a storage place for my files. In the past I used a partitioning program on my older computer to devide the hard drove. When I tried that on this computer it would not allow me to partition the drive. That is the main concern I have. If I had a way to partition the hard drive and uninstall all the unwanted games and features then I would be a lot happier.
This is the first Windows desktop computer I ever received that did NOT have Microsoft Works installed on it. I thought that was part of the Windows operating system and now have most of my files in Works that this computer can't open. It is going to take hours to convert them to WORD, which I had to buy and detest. Works is the easiest system ever designed to use and WORD looks like it was set up for Kindergarten as it has no features that are worth having in a word processor like the "oops" that lets you go back and undo mistakes. If I had known that WORKS was not installed, I would not have purchased this computer!

Not being a computer expert, this new HP PC does everything I need it for and was a nice update from my 2005 HP XP Media Center. I was glad to see I could still get a new PC with Windows 7 as I've heard and experienced nothing good about Windows 8.

I found this CPU to be easy to set up, with little knowledge needed to began use. Nice that I did not have to load everything; computer was basically ready to plug in, turn on, & go. Had confusion at first on how to access & use Starter Word program but when I took a little time to look at the program files, I discovered the answer was right in front of me. Love the built-in LAN with no messy wires everywhere.
