I just got this unit yesterday and am quite pleased. Easy to set up and use. Watched the video on Windows 7 and learned a lot. Recommend you do that if you are not familiar with it. Processor is fast and screen is very large for a laptop. Looking forward to burning disks and downloading pictures. Cons are the screen has no latch to keep it closed when not in use. I have a wireless mouse attached and it doesn't disable the touch pad. Haven't found out if you can disable it. Volume is set all the way up but it's not very loud. Otherwise I like this laptop and recommend it to others. Great price as well at Staples for $599.00. Good price since it has the new processor in it.

Pros: *Speed *Size of screen *Hard Drive Space *Numeric keypad *Textured surface on outside prevents smudges and fingerprints *Windows 7
Cons: *No backlit keyboard *Mouse is jerky due to textured surface, and hard to find edge for scrolling without a defined pad area *Glare on screen *No multifinger gestures on keypad

Love this laptop!

I've had it for a little over a week and I'm in love with it! I love the big screen and the full keyboard! The only issue I had was installing my HP 6500 All-In-One wireless printer. It was due to the Windows 7 - I had Windows XP on my last laptop. The printer I have isn't even a year old, so I thought it was odd that it didn't easily install. I contacted HP through the live help and when that didn't work, I called a tech and he remotely took over my computer and got everything installed and it's been working ever since! Other than that little hurdle....I can't say enough about this little jewel! And as a side note, I really love Windows 7!!!
