Easily installs on HP desktop motherboards. Saves a fair amount of money by doing the simple install yourself rather than ordering extra memory already installed. Works fine on Envy and Phoenix desktops. Am a former loyal DELL customer since 1994.

Was ordered to accommodate a program installation which required more than 3GB memory. I increased to 8GB with this recent purchase. Bonus was the over-all increase in computer speed of operation. Now uses only 28% of memory capacity in normal operations. It seems to have improved several functions.

Have not used any of the features of my new HP Desktop w/ its 3rd Gen i-core 7 ... to any where near its potential-all of this will take long time to adjust to for me.

After installation it only improved my computer speed by a little. I was hoping for a lot more.
I'll recommend this product because all computer's should come with the most ram available these days. It must be something else slowing down my speed. Good price also.
