I like the HP Deskjet 3520, it's different from my old HP all in one, but on the whole easy to use. The only problem I've had is using 4X6 photo paper, it has to go so far back inside, that if it doesn't pull though, it's hard to get out. But, saying that, it is still a product worth purchasing for everyday use.

I bought this printer because of the scanning & duplexing capabilities so I could do quick things at my desk without using the office machine. It ate both my labels and my envelopes and is so loud when printing (or getting ready to print, which takes a full minute) that I can't use it when I or anyone around me is on the phone. To be fair, I haven't tried the duplexing or printing photos yet but what I have printed in color was very different from the other printers I use. For the price, this seems to be a good buy but you definitely get what you pay for in this case. I am still a loyal hp consumer and always will be.

I use the printer for my quilting, I can print pictures right on cloth. The scanning feature is really great. I love the fact that it can print on both sides by itself. I would recommend this printer to anyone.

Everything about this purchase was the right choice!! Received my order within 2 days delivered on a Saturday of all days via FedEx. After installing the printer software from hp.com/downloads since I use a driveless notebook the WiFi setup was just a few selections on the menu.

The good:
Great printer. Quality is what you would expect from a device at this price point. I really like the wireless device integration. I can print from my phone or tablet in a few steps.
The "kinda" bad:
This printer needs to allow for manual wireless network setup from the device itself and not just through the installed software on a PC. Many households don''t even have PCs anymore making the wireless setup very cumbersome.

The most important requirement for a printer is the print quality. The print quality is as good as that for a laser printer.
Since it is an entry level printer, it doesn't have all the 'bells and whistles', which means that it's very easy to operate and maintain. To me, that's a benefit.
Recommend? You bet!

This HP printer was a replacement for a Dell printer that never worked properly. The HP menu is easy to use, with common sense design. I downloaded the APP from iTunes and my son was printing his class notes from his ipad and his smartphone. I can't recommend this printer strongly enough.

I have tried every tip, trick and troubleshoot that there is (HP's step by step, chat groups, etc.; and yes I have it plugged directly into the wall not a power strip). The machine just likes to eat paper. My rating gives it two stars because when it does actually print, the quality is fantastic. Unfortunately in the week I've had this machine I've only gotten three or four pages to print without first sacrificing 3-5 pages of paper to its unseemly appetite. Do yourself a favor, unless you own a paper company: buy a different model.

If you scan and copy more than you print, then this is a fantastic choice. The scanning software is easy to use and customize. The machine prints a bit slowly, but the automatic duplex-printing more than makes up for it. This is a compact printer and will fit just about anyway. Having a true flatbed scanner is a real plus--much better than my previous printer. Basically, this is a great purchase.
My only quibble is environmental: there was a lot of waste associated with setting the printer up, especially the ink cartridges. Thankfully, most of it was recyclable.

This printer is so easy to install any body can do it in 15 min. I also like the way the color is in 3 seperate cartiridges for a more economical use.

I followed all the directions but still couldn't get a copy from the HP computer to print. I always get an error message. I needed to print Boarding Passes, and it failed me even when I erased the error.

This printer was easy to set up. The major complaint is the paper feed, for every page needing printing, nearly every page jams. Then when one page does print, the top of the page comes out torn and crumpled. Very disappointed with this printer.

I was looking for a new wireless printer. I had been getting by with a printer server attached to my old PSC model. As this printer was an "addon" to my computer order, I was not expecting much. However, it was easy to setup and has worked very well. I have printed successfully from both my laptops, and both Ipads. I have also used the email print feature and it worked. I have successfully scanned and copied and am pleased with the results. I am very happy with the initial setup and usage.

I have been using HP desktop products since they first came to market. I used on-line setup and was amazed at the ease of setup and integration into my system.. This is my first multi-function printer/scanner and I really like the space saving. There are so many new features, since my last printer, that improve functionality and make life so much simpler. Way to go HP.

This printer IS a bit on the "noisy" side, as I read in aNother review prior to purchase, HowEver....it Does print good color,etc. The "inkers" do Not seem to last as long as my Previous printer...that I Really Liked!! and by the way...I AM a Hewlett Packard girl!! (nearly 70 yrs. young! and do NOT Like "change"...that's why I'm Not "thrilled" with this printer...It does what I need it to do...print cards for our church "shut-ins"..so that's ok.

This printer is much faster than my previous HP printer. I like the wireless because I can be in another area and still be able to print. It was really easy to hook up. The color on this printer is much sharper than I expected. I still have some playing to do with it, so I can't tell you about printing pictures...............yet.
