I purchased a PS 5510 less than two years ago. A couple of months ago, it stopped printing black. Neither replacing the cartridge, nor following all the support instructions fixed anything.
As the unit was out of warranty, I was offered a rebate on this model in exchange for the old printer.

I asked them to wait for three days while I looked for alternatives. Two days later, the printer started to work normally again. This problem is very, very common. In HP's own forum there is a thread of 204 messages about this problem, with no solution from HP apart from replacing the failed units when they are still in warranty.
I will not purchase this model, even if it seems perfect feature wise and has a good price, as it shares the same printing mechanism with the 5510. HP should better start taking care of its customers, or they will stop trusting HP reputation as a dependable brand.

Mostly I like the printer and it seems to be working well. It should have more printed instructions. I don't know how to how to scan something, and I'm a little shaky about the correct procedure to make copies.

The printer meets all the specifications that are adverstised - easy to use, easy to install, wireless ready, etc. The printer is also quick wihile processing the average documents. One downfall is that the printer seems to create horizontal lines going across the print while making "photos" on the photo paper. The lines occur about every 0.5" down the paper. It seems that it may be due to the width of the print head. I would not expect this from an HP Printer that was advertised to print high quality photos.

I have had this printer for 4 months and I love the features it has and the wifi...I DO NOT like the fact that it jams ALL the time..just printed 3 pages..Had to clear jam 9 times...This isn't a one time occurrence.It happens ALL the time..I would not recommend this printer unless you enjoy endless trips to unjam it..Pointless to have wifi when you have to be next to it to unjam constantly

Once the paper feeder grabbed 10 sheets of paper, but only once so far. The duplex print worked perfect when I tested it, and yes, it is selectable so it can be turned off. The scanner is excellent, with a preview scan so the final scan can be adjusted. Wireless is excellent.
My laptop says "The Toolbox could not be loaded." If I knew what that was, I could fill the toolbox and maybe it would be loaded.
Both the laptop (connected with wireless) and the desktop (connected by USB) kept telling me the scanner was not available, even though it always was. I could not correct this, either, so just asked that it not be loaded at start-up. This did not affect the scanner in any way.
Overall, great product. Excellent product for the cost.

I was told this is an all in one, but it cannot fax and it copies only one page at a time (hand fed)
I returned it for one with more features (and more $$$). H/P is good that way they are very easy to do business with.

Great product. Easy setup, just plug it in and follow the instructions on the LCD screen. Love the double-sided printing option and the fact that there are four separate ink cartridges. Print quality is more than adequate for the home user.

Love this printer. Prints on both sides of the paper, I can click print on my android tablet and smart phone and wow, it starts printing from them,!! I'm pretty impressed that it does everything you could want and cost under $100. Dollars. If I were looking for a printer I wouldn't look and farther than the 5520.

The printer was difficult to get hooked up with the system and configuring it took some time. We have had several paper jams already in just 3-4 printing tries. The quality of the printing is good however when it does work.

I have two of these printers. The first one worked great which is why I decided to purchase a second one. Unfortunately the second one is awful. The paper continuously jams or registers that the tray is empty when it is not. Even when it was just printing, On one print job, every time I tried to print the entire job, I go jibberish. I ended up printing page by page.

I have had this printer since December and love it. At first it wouldn't link up with my laptop, found out that my laptop had registry errors. When got the problem solved, no problems. It jammed once but that was due to pushing the paper to far. The quick forms are nice, haven't tried the apps yet. So far, I'm loving it.

I've used the printer for pictures as well as printing info, etc. and both uses have produced sharp, clear pages that are very good quality, and the pictures have great color. This was a great purchase! And I love the wireless hookup to my computer

I bought this after seeing a pretty good rating. However, paper started jamming from the very first print (test print). Even the Advanced photo paper that was given for free jammed multiple times. I've used many HP and other printers before, but never seen so much problem with paper jamming.
