I love the HP 564 XL Photo Ink for my HP printer. It's the only brand I will buy because I know I can rely on it to do as it says and that I will get the most copies for my money.

Ever since I purchased my HP Photosmart printer I have used nothing but HP ink. The picture quality and copy quality is the best you can get and HP makes the ink affordable and easy to get. There are always coupon codes for $$ off or a percentage off, free overnight shipping and easy ordering online. Finally one of the printer companies figured a way to get people to buy their ink and not gouge their wallets. Thank you HP, I'm a forever customer

When I replaced the cartridge in the 510 printer it failed to supply ink above a 1/4 measure on the ink level. I've had the same trouble before and fear that I'll have to find a printer which will allow replacement cartridges to be replaced with out having to seek repair of the printer. I'm very dissatisfied with HP in this area. All other performance aspects of the 510 printer are outstanding and I can't see why HP can't get this right.
Lately I've noticed the page capacity is reduced on HP cartridges. Especially bad is the 564XL. Technology HP builds in to make it difficult to use refilled or third party carts will have me shopping another brand when this printer quits. Or sooner.
This was not recognized as a full cartridge by my printer (c310a); I bought all 5 new cartridges from HP and only one showed 'full' = the black,. All the photo cartridges had some space at the top after printer recognized the new cartridges which is disappointing, suggesting I'm not getting full cartridges.
The low ink warning is on after one week. And, to add insult to injury, the printer software does not allow me to use re-filled cartridges for "quality" reasons. Allow the consumer to decide the level of quality desired. This is not National Geographic. The issue is "value" and HP cartridges do not have it.
Why does my printer say used or counterfeit cartridge after installing? And why does it say original HP ink depleted when there's visually an almost full cartridge there that's printing? I recently put in all new cartridges that I ordered here. One of the colors (think it was this yel. one) would not print until I kept shaking it & putting back. Finally put a dab of alcohol on the sponge, and after using for a while it started working, or at least partially. But now printer says it's not. Also says other cartridges are low and they're not. Cartridges were sealed and within date.
None of these cartridges seem to last very long. I only use this printer for home and I seem to be putting cartridges in them all the time. I do not print pictures or any heavy ink needing project and they still last only about 3 weeks. Not enought ink and printed pages for the price.
