I had the same Dell laptop for 5 years and was ready for a new one. My boyfriend convinced me to get this computer after Dell removed the number pad in the new version of the laptop I wanted. I've had it for two weeks now and I have had no real issues at all!
A few negatives: the disc tray button is a little difficult to push and feels really flimsy however this is the lightest and thinnest laptop I've ever had; the "num lock" button doesn't have a light so I have to guess whether it is on or not especially since I like to switch between the num pad and the alternate buttons.
Positives: Everything else!

This is a GREAT everyday laptop. It is fast, has plenty of storage, and is equipped with almost all the bells and whistles. I use this laptop for school, work, and pleasure and I haven't run into any issues yet. The finger print scanner is a nice addition however 65% of the time I have to re-scan my finger for it to pull up whatever website I've set as a command. Its not a big deal but is something I wouldn't base getting the computer on. It really has been a great computer thus far (I've had it a little over two weeks now).
